Mandy Jiang

Managing Director

Mandy Jiang is a junior at Syracuse University and has been playing violin since age ten. A Kessler Scholar on the Setnor Award, a full-tuition music scholarship, she performs with the Syracuse University Marching Band, including at the 2024 Holiday Bowl in San Diego and at Buffalo Bills games. Her work with the nonprofit Project 440 spans the Doing Good and Instruments for Success programs, a summer internship, and a term as Youth Representative to the Board on the Youth Advocacy Council. She was a Philadelphia Orchestra All-City Fellow for four years and a PMAY artist for three years.

Beyond music, she works with the Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program (CSTEP) at the SENSES lab, serves as a Residential Mentor (RM) with InclusiveU, a four-year program at Syracuse University for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and is pursuing a minor in disability studies.

A former Music and Mindfulness Camp student and winner of the Anthony DeGrazia Award, Mandy now serves as Managing Director for the 2027 session. She works across the camp’s operations, from revamping the website to planning for sustainable practices in future seasons, while shadowing Director Denise Kinney. She cannot wait to meet all of our returning and new campers, in 2027 and beyond.
